Can I extend the deadline to make a decision on a volunteer application?

Our system is currently limited in that we cannot extend deadlines; what we can do is accept the volunteer on a temporary basis so that the application will not be automatically declined on the deadline. If you decide not to work with the volunteer, please let us know as soon as possible and we can undo their acceptance.
