Taproot Foundation is sunsetting Taproot Plus for Small Business effective immediately. This program was launched in 2020 in response to the immense challenges small businesses faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, opening up access to pro bono consulting to help them navigate uncertainty and build resilience. Over the past few years, we’ve been honored to support small businesses and deepen our collective understanding of their critical role in strengthening communities. As we move forward, Taproot is returning to its founding mission: closing the nonprofit resource gap through pro bono service.
With the nonprofit sector facing unprecedented threats, we are refocusing our efforts to meet this urgent moment and ensure these organizations have the support they need to thrive. While Taproot Plus for Small Business is ending, we look forward to continuing small business work in collaboration with select partners who have a long-standing, valued history of supporting the small business community.
