Pause Volunteer Recruitment
Nonprofits can now temporarily pause volunteer recruitment for a pro bono opportunity. This gives your team the flexibility to focus on reviewing volunteer applications or refining listing details before welcoming new applicants. When you're ready to resume recruitment, simply click "I Need More Volunteers" on the opportunity page, and your listing will be visible to volunteers again.
AI Opportunity Scoping
Our new AI-powered feature helps nonprofits clearly define their needs when creating a volunteer opportunity. It offers guidance and suggestions to make the opportunity description more focused and well-scoped, helping you connect with the right pro bono support.
Boost My Listing
Need a little extra visibility for your opportunity? The new Boost My Listing feature helps active Projects and Sessions rise to the top of the Taproot Plus marketplace. When you boost your listing, it refreshes your posting date and highlights your opportunity at the top of the marketplace to volunteers who are actively looking for ways to give back.
My Tasks
All Taproot user dashboards now include a clear list of actions you need to take to successfully participate in the program. Whether you need to review a volunteer application or schedule a call, your dashboard will guide you through the next steps. The goal: make it easy to see when you need to take action, reply to a pro bono partner, and help engagements move forward.
Recommended Opportunities
Volunteers will now automatically see opportunities that align with the skills they selected in their Taproot dashboard in a special pre-filtered recommendations section. You must be logged in to see this feature in action. It’s exciting to discover new ways to apply your expertise where it’s needed most!
