When we introduced our new brand, our CEO, Cat Ward, put it this way:
"Right now, nonprofits are being asked to do more with less in a world that's changing faster than ever. And they're rising to it. In a moment like this, you can wait for things to play out. Or you can get bolder. We chose bolder."
That's why Taproot has a refreshed brand: a new look, new language, and a story that ties it all together. It reflects the bigger role we're stepping into as the needs of nonprofits, companies, and skilled professionals grow.
What hasn't changed is our commitment to nonprofits and to high-quality pro bono service.

What you'll notice on Taproot Plus
You'll see our new look and language across Taproot Plus, our emails, and this Knowledge Base, starting with our new logo. It's built around what happens when forces come together: nonprofits, pro bono consultants, partners, funders, and everyone who believes in this work, creating shared, exponential impact.
What's staying the same
How you use Taproot Plus hasn't changed. Your account, your opportunities, and any engagements in progress continue exactly as they are. There's nothing you need to do. Our legal name, Taproot Foundation, is unchanged too. We simply go by Taproot.
What it means for you
Nonprofits: We connect organizations like yours with the right pro bono expertise, so your team can focus on what only you can do. You'll access professional expertise at no cost.
Pro bono consultants: Turn what you know into what you care about. Every engagement builds your skills while helping a nonprofit take its mission further.
What does "Power what's possible" mean?
When the right expertise meets the right need, it expands what's possible: for a nonprofit's mission, for a professional's growth, and for the communities they serve.
