Once you’ve created and submitted your request for skilled volunteer support, your opportunity will move into the Pending Taproot Review stage. During this time, our team reviews your request to make sure it aligns with Taproot Plus guidelines and is positioned for a successful match.
Our review process can take up to 7 business days, depending on the volume of requests we’re processing. During this time, Taproot staff members check for:
Clarity: Is the request easy to understand and well-scoped?
Readiness: Does your team seem prepared to start working with a volunteer?
Fit: Does the opportunity align with Taproot’s eligibility guidelines and skill areas?
We may reach out with a few questions or suggestions to strengthen your request before approval. Once approved, your opportunity will be published on Taproot Plus and visible to volunteers who match your needs. You’ll receive an email notification once it’s live.
If your request requires updates before it can be approved, you’ll also receive an email with specific feedback and next steps. Don’t worry—our goal is to help you refine your listing so it attracts the right support.
