Getting started with a Taproot Plus Project can feel like a big step—but you're not in it alone! Our team reviews each Project request to make sure it's clear, well-scoped, and set up for success. Here's what we look for and how you can strengthen your post before submitting it. 

What We Look for in a Project Request

A clear and specific deliverable

A good rule to follow in creating a Project request is if you can easily fill in the blank—"At the end of this Project, the skilled volunteer and I will have created ______", then you're right on track. 

A realistic timeline

Projects should generally be completed within 2-12 weeks. Keep your scope manageable so volunteers can make meaningful progress within that time frame.

Aligned skills

Make sure the skills you list match the actual work involved. Clear skill alignment helps Taproot m

A compelling description

Your Project post is your first impression! A concise and engaging description helps volunteers quickly understand your goals and get excited to contribute their skills.

Organizational readiness

Demonstrate how your team plans to use the final deliverable. Volunteers are most inspired when they see that their work will create real impact.
