What Is a Taproot Plus Session?

Sessions are one-hour virtual consultations with a skilled volunteer designed to help your organization think through a challenge, explore solutions, or plan your next steps.

Think of a Session as time to connect with a subject matter expert for creative brainstorming, strategic guidance, or problem-solving support. Common Session topics include:

  • Marketing & Communications

  • HR & Leadership Development

  • Business Strategy & Finance

  • Technology & IT

Once you submit a Session request through your Taproot Plus dashboard, our team will review it and publish it to the Taproot Plus marketplace. When a volunteer applies, you’ll be able to review their application and, if you’re interested, propose times to meet.

To make the most of your Session, keep it focused on a specific challenge or question that can be explored within one hour. If you need support in multiple areas—such as HR and Marketing—you can post separate Sessions for each topic.

There’s no limit to how many Sessions your organization can request, so feel free to explore different areas where expert insight could make a difference.
