Your volunteer listing will have its own page on your Taproot Dashboard! It will appear on Taproot's public marketplace and be searchable by anyone visiting Taproot's website.
The Taproot Plus system will also promote your opportunity to skilled volunteers via email.
You're encouraged to share your volunteer opportunity with your own network as well! We recommend posting your listing on your social media channels, sharing it in your next newsletter.
When a volunteer applies to your opportunity, you’ll receive an email notification and see their application in your Taproot Plus Dashboard. Log in to your account to review their background, skills, and statement of interest to determine whether they’re a good match for your organization’s needs.
If you're interested in connecting with the volunteer, schedule a call through your Dashboard. Be sure to respond to all volunteer applications directly through your dashboard. If no action is taken, your listing will temporarily deactivate. Once you take action—such as proposing call times or declining an application—your opportunity will automatically reactivate.
Volunteers may have questions for you, too. They’ll want to understand your organization’s readiness, communication style, and expectations to make sure it’s a good fit on both sides.
