Volunteer Eligibility
To volunteer on Taproot Plus, you must:
Live in one of our eligible regions: Volunteers must reside in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, European Union, or India.
Have professional experience in the topic area of the opportunity you’re applying to.
Feel confident sharing your expertise with a nonprofit partner.
We recognize that experience comes in many forms—whether through applied learning, certifications, freelance projects, or other professional pathways. Pro bono consulting can be a great way to apply your expertise and strengthen your collaboration skills, but it’s not the best place to learn something entirely new. What matters most is that you feel prepared to contribute meaningfully.
