What Should I Do if a Call Was Missed or Needs to Be Rescheduled?

Your quick guide to rescheduling or moving forward after a missed call

Last updated on 06 Nov, 2025

We know things don’t always go as planned—unexpected scheduling conflicts, last-minute changes, or technical issues can happen. If a call is missed or needs to be rescheduled, don’t worry. Taproot Plus makes it easy to get back on track.

If you’re still interested in connecting, log in to your Taproot Plus Dashboard and go to the opportunity page:

  • If the scheduled time has already passed, mark the call as missed.

  • If the call hasn’t happened yet, you can propose new call times to reschedule.

Taking these steps helps your volunteer or nonprofit partner know you’re still interested in moving forward and keeps your opportunity active.

If you’re no longer interested in connecting, that’s okay too:

  • Volunteers can withdraw their application.

  • Nonprofits can decline the volunteer’s application.

Your responsiveness keeps the Taproot Plus community strong and ensures both sides can make the most of their time and expertise.

If you run into any issues or need help updating your call status, reach out to our team at help@taprootplus.org—we’re happy to help!
